The Sea Port as conceived is a modern Inland Deep Seaport in Abia State, Obeaku City, Ukwa East L.G.A that draws its waters From Azumiri river in Abia State, Onne in Rivers State, Ibom Rivers in Akwa Ibom and Imo River in Imo State, all in Nigeria and was established with 10,000 Hectares of Land. .

Abia State Deep Sea Port Enterprise Limited (ADSPEL) is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) which was awarded the Concession Agreement for development and operations of the Obeaku Deep Sea Port by the Nigerian Ports Authority. ADSPEL is required to develop, build and operate a common user, multipurpose port under the concession and has the right to sub-concession terminal operations to other companies. ADSPEL is a joint venture enterprise owned by a group of investors led by the Zoros Group, the Abia State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). ADSPEL is registered with Abia State Government and has the license to operate in Ukwa East L.G.A. This opens a whole host of benefits for Obeaku Port in terms of taxes, duties and other incentives.
Obeaku City Port is located in Obeaku City in Ukwa East L.G.A of Abia State Nigeria. The port have a land capacity of 10,000 Hectares (160,000 plots) of land. The Modern Deep Sea Port is highly powered by Zoros Energy Limited a subsidiary of Zoros Group and have equiped the port with other auxiliary facilities like: A 4 Star Hotel, Refinery, Mega City and an Ultra Modern State of Art Hospital including Schools, Fire and Police Station etc. Obeaku City Port is being developed as a multi-product and logistics hub for the entire West African Region. Strategically located 65km east of Aba a popular trade city, the zone is well connected by road, sea and by air. When fully developed, it will be spread over an area of 2000 hectares and will house petroleum and petrochemical complexes, agri-commodity, other manufacturing industries and many auxiliary facilities.
